With a population of 173,000 St Ann is in the largest parish on the island. It lies on the northern coast not far from Montego Bay and is often called "The garden Parish of Jamaica" on account of its natural beauty. St Ann was the birthplace of reggae singer Bob Marley as well as many residents of Gloucester today.
